Overview
The Drupal Developer will be responsible for all Drupal development on a high profile inter-agency geospatial open data platform. This will include building several site specific modules, as well as integrating existing modules, and connecting to several external databases and data.gov. The ideal candidate will also have strong experience with usability and design.
Primary Responsibilities
• Assist the Technical Lead in gathering Customer Requirements for a Drupal based platform
• Develop documentation and wire diagrams for the platform
• Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and sites
• Proficient in JavaScript and familiar with AJAX, JSON and JQuery
• Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and sites
• Interact with the Program Manager, Lead Technologies, and System Administrator to ensure program schedule and milestones are met
Skills and Experience
• 3-5 years Web design and development experience
• 3-5 years PHP Experience
• 3-5 years of MySQL Experience
• 3-5 years JavaScript experience
• 3-5 years CSS experience
• 1-2 years of Drupal and Drupal Module development
• 1 year experience using Amazon Web Services
Desired Skills and Experience
• Hand-coding HTML and table-less CSS is preferred
• Experience with iOS, Android, Obj-C
• GIS experience; ESRI, AutoDesk, Open Layers
• Active Member of the Drupal Community
• Federal Consulting Experience
• Knowledge of other content management systems
